May 12, 2025 – After thorough discussions with the government, security agencies, and key stakeholders, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that the TATA IPL 2025 season will resume starting May 17, 2025. The remainder of the tournament will take place across six select venues, with the final match scheduled for June 3, 2025.
A total of 17 exciting matches will be played in the revised schedule, including two double-headers on Sundays, adding extra excitement to the IPL season. Here are the details for the playoffs:
- Qualifier 1 – May 29, 2025
- Eliminator – May 30, 2025
- Qualifier 2 – June 1, 2025
- Final – June 3, 2025
